How do I obtain a library card?

Anyone living within the State of Texas may qualify for a library card upon completing the required application form. Proof of residency is required. Children should be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. For more information and application cards, contact the Circulation Desk at (817)616-3760.

How do I know when my items are due?

Circulation Policies

These items have a 3 week (21 days) circulation period with (1) renewal allowed; no renewals are allowed if item is 7 days or more overdue, or if reserved. Overdue charges are $.15 per day:

  • Books (no renewals if book is reserved)
  • Books-on-tape or Audio CD’s
  • Compact discs
  • Magazines

 Videotapes and DVDs are circulated for seven (7) days. No renewals allowed. Overdue charges are $1.00 video or DVD per day. Limit three (3) DVDs per library card.

And you can always check your account Online at "My Account". To login to "My Account" you will need your library card number and pin (your pin number is the last four digits of your card number re-enter).
