Captain Sheena Parsons
Captain Parsons began her career with the Richland Hills Police Department in 2005 as a Patrol Officer and began serving as a Patrol Officer In-Charge in 2008. In 2012 she became the Crime Prevention Officer, 2014 was promoted to Administrative Sergeant, and in 2017 was promoted to Captain of Administrative Services. Captain Parsons is also one of the department’s Public Information Officers, Mental Health Peace Officers, Background Investigators, and Police Training Officers. She additionally served 8 years in the U.S. Army Reserves in a Military Police combat unit and completed a yearlong deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Captain Parsons believes in the partnership between the police and the citizens they serve. She works to build those relationships through her involvement in the Citizen Police Academy, Neighborhood Crime Watch Program and various other community programs run by the police department.
