The Economic Development Office strives to maintain a high quality of life in Richland Hills by promoting the efficient and orderly development of private properties and encouraging the growth of business and enhancement of property values within the community. City staff is available to work with the business community on projects of all sizes to promote those goals.  Staff strives to work on expansion, retention and attraction of businesses through various programs.

Businesses and residents alike benefit from one of the lowest municipal ad valorem tax rates in the D/FW Metroplex. The City's current tax rate is lower than all of the surrounding communities and 38% lower than that of  Fort Worth.

Amenities are plentiful in and around Richland Hills, with immediate access to an incredible selection of local attractions.
