Much like the president’s State of the Union address, State of the City speeches celebrate the community’s achievements and highlight policy priorities for the year ahead. During the State of the City meeting on Tuesday, November 15, City Council gave a presentation about local economic conditions, the progress of capital projects and City finances. They also showed an advanced preview of the City’s new website and branding, which launched on November 17, 2022.
Citizen Survey
One project highlighted during the State of the City was the citizen survey. These surveys provide valuable information on your priorities and help the City form strategic plans for community programs and policies. They also identify areas of improvement and assist City Council and staff in planning for the future.
