How do I make a request?

A request allows you to ask for an item that may be unavailable be placed on hold for you when it becomes accessible. A request may be made following the same steps as renewals.

There are three ways you can make a request. Please have your library card at hand when making a request.

  • Request the item at the Library front desk
  • Call the library
  • Use the online catalog

Residents

A Richland Hills resident can request items that are currently checked out and/or items located at any of the libraries the MetroShare.

Non-Residents

Non-residents may only request items owned by the Richland Hills Public Library.
